Senior Night for Carrie

I can't believe that it's Carrie's senior year! She is having a good time, yet trying to finish strong.  As a member of the Sound of the Seven Hills (the band at Rome High) she is a section leader for the trumpets.  She has been part of the trumpet trio during their halftime show this year, and has done a terrific job.  Band requires a lot of time, but it teaches a lot - I'm glad all my kids participate in band!  At the last home football game it was senior night.  They announce all the senior cheerleaders, football players and band members.  Family members "escort" them onto the track as their name is announced.  Here are a few pictures from senior night.

Every senior gets the question - what will you do next year?  For Carrie that answer has always been Berry. She has wanted to go to Berry since she was 5 years old.  Well, she applied and was accepted! Good, because she had NO plan B.  She is in the process of applying to Winshape.  Pray that she gets into this wonderful program.  The decision for admittance to Winshape is a long wait.  Winshape provides scholarship, and many opportunities for spiritual & leadership growth.  Beyond getting accepted into Winshape, she has to apply for lots of scholarships because Berry College is an expensive endeavor.  If you are reading this, would you please pray for God to provide all the resources she needs to attend Berry, Ephesians 3:20
